Shock Your Self Into Working

Hey

One of my favourite programs for working has been updated to administer electric shocks. Its called FruitfulTime TaskManager Electro and is designed to shock you into doing work. Its a new program that I am sure will catch on for managers around the world.

By using the FruitfulTime TaskManager base as the code, the guys have tweeked it to enable to interface with the current flowing through your keyboard. It works as per their research and is definitely a good program for enforcing those tasks to be completed.

There FAQ states:

1. Is this safe?

Yes, completely safe. Although the words electric shock sound scary, there is nothing to be worried about. The shock is of low intensity, very low amperage for the technical people out there, so completely safe.

The shock will only feel like a small prick in your fingers and will not leave any markings at all. It just stimulates your nerve endings in your palms and the brain picks up these signals, thus making you feel the shock. This will only stimulate you to work on your tasks, which is the desired effect.

2. Will it work with my keyboard and mouse?

Yes, it will. We have designed the system to work with the most common keyboards and mice available on the market today.

3. But my keyboard is wireless. Will it also work with it?

Yes, it will. From the research conducted we have found out that people that use wireless devices tend to slack more on their work, most probably due the fact that with a wireless keyboard and mouse you can relax more, not being tied to the office desk.

Therefore, we think that people who use wireless pheripherals are the ones that through research will benefit most from this product.

Download it and see if it works for you, and try not to get to caught up with the first of April jokes.

Earn Money Through Searches

Hey

While searching the internet I have come across a cool website which you can use to earn money while you search in your browser. It is really simple and an easy way to supplement any earnings. You could earn up to £35 per hour if you are really good and lucky.

The way this works is simple. You download a search box for your browser. These aren't the spyware tool bar types, it is the standard search box that you get from Google and Yahoo etc. This box is then installed in your browser with your unique signup ID. Every time you do a search, through this box you earn a couple of pennies. It is not a lot, but over time your could earn hundreds. On average you get about 3p ($0.06) per search, this various but you do usually get paid for every search. You use a search box similar to the one below.

Three pence per search doesn't sound a lot. But if you think about how many searches you do in a day this could really tot up. On average I probably do about 200 - 300 searches a day if I am working, sometimes more if I am relaxing, just general surfing. That is £9 per day. Not bad for something you do naturally. Now times that by 365 for a full year and you could earn about £2,000. These could be in your sights. Although £2000 is unlikly. A tenner a week could buy a couple of beers.

Of course this does get better. You can refer people to your account. By doing this your earn 10% of what they make. You also earn 5% of there friends earnings, and 2.5% of there friends friends earning. Assuming a search is 2.5p and each person has referred 5 people (not hard you just ask a couple of people) and they make 10 searches a day. You could earn £536 a year. That money is free to you.

You get paid after 45 days. This is probably due to the calculations being made on your account. As well as this they must receive some of the funds through Ask the search engine. Payments are either by PayPal or check.

To sign up you can follow this link. It will send you to a sign up page ready for you to get searching and making money. Go out, do some search through the Ask search engine and earn some money. On a side note don't abuse the system by making hundreds of pointless searches, they will find out and just ban your account. Do it like you would normally and you could be earning your self a nice Christmas present.

Simple Trick To Increase Your RSS Subscriber Count

Hey

This is only going to be a short post. It's about simply at trick for increasing your RSS subscriber numbers using email that learned from Scott Chow over at TheBlogStarter.com. More specifically capturing more people that have already subscribed.

Some websites (not this one) offer RSS updates by email. This is awesome for some websites as you can capture a large proportion of people easily. The problem is that Feedburner has a double opt in system where you have to confirm your email. As a result people forget tot do this and you lose a couple of people. These people still show up on you list but are not receiving those emails and they don't count towards your RSS number.

To capture these people you need to go to your Feedburner email list and download the CSV or Excel file. You then sort and organise the list so you can view all of the email addresses. You then simply send an email to these people reminding them to subscribe.

Hopefully if this trick works you should get more people subscribed and your RSS number goes up. Its only a simple trick but it can increase your numbers. I gained about 50 people from another website of mine using this method.

New Idea: How To Get More People To Vote On Lower Stories In Reddit

Hey

I love reddit I use it all of the time. I like the types of stories that are submitted and vote on as well as the comments. One problem that is faced by these sites, as well as many others such as digg, is that many of the lower stories don't get a vote or even looked at. This is a problem. As a result I have come up with an idea that could solve this problem.

If you look at the image below it contains one voted up story at the top of the page. What I think should happen is 3 possibly more possibly less stories magically appear when you click the up vote button. These stories are similar in nature and should hopefully appear to the user. The user can then vote on these stories. Clicking on the image below will give you the full size version.

What this would do is bring new unseen stories into the users eyes. There could be an option to turn this off as well as hide them. These new stories will the get the exposure they need and hopefully get promoted. The same can then happen for stories that shouldn't get promoted. They get weeded out pretty quickly.

What do you guys think? I would like to hear your feedback.
